Our mission as a nonprofit volunteer organization is to develop, attract, and retain business in West Oakland.

THE WOCA ORGANIZATION consisits of a 21-person Board of Directors with 200 Regular and Associate members. A dozen active committees appear on its Organization Chart.

GET INVOLVED by attending our monthly get together held on the third Thursday of most months. See Newsletter/What's New page for more information on the next meeting. Programs address timely topics by guest speakers on specific subjects of interest to members. Most importantly, your membership in the West Oakland Commerce Association supports our efforts to assure that local, state, and federal policies support, encourage, and aid in the development of business.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT, so join WOCA and make a difference. Help us help you to create a city which promotes growth and profitability, and which looks to its business leaders as key components of a healthy and successful environment for all of its' citizens.

MEMBERSHIP in the West Oakland Commerce Association includes a subscription to the WOCA Journal, our monthly newsletter providing businesses with informative and timely material about current issues of vital importance.

Any firm, company or individual in West Oakland is eligible for membership. Firms, companies, or individuals serving West Oakland but not having a business located directly in West Oakland are eligible for membership as Associate Members

MEMBERSHIP DUES remitted to the West Oakland Commerce Association may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Annual membership dues of $190.00. Dues are payable to "WOCA" in advance for both Regular and Associate Members.
